My cat has a love of looking out the window in my apartment, but all I had up on the sill for her to lay on is a dishtowel. Since I like that dishtowel and wanted it back, I got this kitty perch for about 25 bucks.
It's very easy to install. I would check on the depth of your sill though before you buy it. You have about two ways to adjust it via the washers and screws, but I had to tinker with it a bit so it wasn't lopsided. I did manage to get it to fit my window, and it's surprisingly secure. I can tell that the velcro won't come of the sill easily though, but I'll tackle that problem with tubs of goo-gone when the time comes. Thankfully, I don't think that'll be anytime soon. My cat LOVES this and is currently taking a nap on top of it. The deluxe model allows her to fully spread out.
The only reason I'm taking away a star was the actual lambskin wool is not the best quality. It was dirty when I got it and felt cheap. My cat doesn't care though, and that counts for something.
